During the 10th session on the afternoon of December 10, the National Assembly passed the Law on High Technology (amended). Comprising 6 chapters and 27 articles, the amended Law regulates high-tech activities and outlines policies and measures to encourage and promote such activities, as well as those related to the development of strategic technologies.
This amendment not only retains existing, relevant provisions but also introduces significant, groundbreaking new elements. It aims to establish a transparent legal framework that encourages investment, research, transfer, and the application of high technology across all sectors of the economy.
The Law will take effect on July 1, 2026.
