In particular, the 5G DFE chip has a level of complexity equivalent to the Apple A7 chip, with a computing capacity of up to 1,000 billion calculations per second and is highly appreciated by large technology corporations such as Synopsys (USA).
Previously, in 2019, Nikkei Asia reported on Viettel's intention to develop 5G chips. According to the Japanese newspaper, while Thailand, the Philippines and some other Southeast Asian countries lean towards using 5G technology developed by Huawei Corporation (China), Vietnam wants to pursue its own path. .
Viettel has invested millions of dollars to develop 5G chips and research devices with 5G chips. The group focuses on advanced chipsets placed inside core devices to process data from multiple networked devices.
